Our History:

Indigo Mortgage began on January 1, 2003 by Ben Lucero and his wife, Mila. They set out to create a different type of mortgage company, to provide the highest customer service, integrity, and moral behavior.

After more than a decade in business, including the difficult economic downturn and its impact on the housing and mortgage industry, Indigo Mortgage remains one of New Mexico’s and Colorado’s largest mortgage companies. Still locally-owned and operated, Indigo Mortgage operates 5 divisions including Residential Loans, VA Home Loans, Reverse Mortgages, Construction Loans and a Commercial Lending division.

The company’s mortgage broker and loan originators are all 100% certified by the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS #188348). They are pleased to serve as a loan education and information resource and welcome questions about the mortgage process. All loan officers have a college degree.
